By downloading or using Libby ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. What Libby Is
Libby is a food ingredient analysis tool. It provides information about ingredients based on published scientific literature. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional nutritional or medical guidance.
2. Not Medical Advice
Ingredient scores and flags in Libby are for informational purposes only. Do not use Libby to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, especially regarding allergies, intolerances, or chronic conditions.
3. Free Tier & Subscriptions
- Free users get 3 scans per day. Scans reset daily at midnight UTC.
- Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple. All billing disputes must be handled through Apple.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Lifetime purchases are non-refundable except as required by Apple's refund policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
- Use the app in any way that could harm other users or our infrastructure
- Share your account or device ID with others to circumvent scan limits
5. Accuracy
We work hard to keep ingredient data accurate, but we make no warranties that scores, flags, or ingredient information are complete, current, or error-free. Ingredient databases change. Formulations change. Always read the physical label.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucky Happy Fish LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of Libby, including but not limited to health decisions made based on app data.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
